Leon Onufrio

What we know

Dalyria's diary mentions that he was a sorcerer prior to being a vampire, so we actually have a class for him. Somewhere in the time before being a vampire, we know that he fathered Victoria--with who? No idea, as it's never mentioned.

He seems to be a very protective father, writing in his diary that he forced himself to be Cazador's best hunter just so he could stay in the "favorited spawn" chambers with Victoria, citing that he didn't like the way the spawn looked at her "especially Violet". Clearly he was good at this though, as he is listed as the "favorite spawn" every year except for once, when Violet got it.

He'll go on to say that Cazador supposedly had a plan for her and would just smile that "wicked smile" whenever he'd ask about her. He was scared for the "Black Mass" as he puts it, so he was trying to enlist Fiagro to help with a disguise/escape plan for Victoria.

Lastly, he did in fact put a

Necrotic Curse on her, as a warning and precaution to ward against his siblings biting his (human) daughter...however, as we learnt from Dalyria, this didn't work.

Where we see him

He comes to kidnap Astarion in act 3 alongside Aurelia, and he'll also be confused as to what you're talking about when you mention the ritual. Seemingly Cazador was telling all the other spawn that they'd earn their "freedom" after the ritual...another lie, which Leon seems to understand very quickly, noting Cazador would do so because it is "more cruel".

We see him of course during the actual ritual. The only thing of note here, is that if you talk to him without Astarion, he asks if you'll kill him + the rest of the spawn like as you killed Cazador. He seems to be very thankful and genuine if you set him and the others free, much like Aurelia.

Theories

I wouldn't call it a theory, but we pretty much know he is the youngest spawn. Victoria is no more than 10 at the absolute most, and considering she was born prior to Leon's vampirism, that puts his number of years at ten--at MAX. However, the spawn ledger only lists six years total, so it's very possible that he was there an even smaller amount of time.

There's also the question of why? Why would Cazador turn a man, forcing him to bring his daughter along? With everyone else, he seems to take their lives/families entirely away from them... it makes you wonder what his plan with Victoria was, and I truly wish we knew more about this.
