BG3 SPAWN ARCHIVE
Violet
(Elf, Violet Goldhammer, possibly)
What we know:
Not much is known about Violet, one of the three girls of the seven spawn. She is described as mischievous, perhaps one of the trouble makers of the group. You can find informaton about her in three books located in Cazador's Palace: the favorited spawn ledger, located in the favorited spawn corridor, and her diary, located in the spawn's main bedroom. Leon's Diary also mentions her, and this is also in the favorited spawn room.
She is listed once as a favorite spawn one year, and in her diary, she mentions putting garlic in Yousen's bed, as well as wishing she could get close to Victoria (Leon's daughter), who she seems to have "plans" for. Leon confirms this in his diary, saying he doesn't like the way the spawn look at Victoria--especially Violet. She calls Victoria a brat, indicating that perhaps she does not like children.
Where we see her:
We only see her twice in game! The first time you see her (and fight her) is in act 3, when Aurelia and Leon show up to attempt to kidnap Astarion.
She will also be in the Ritual Room in the basement of Cazador's Palace during the Ritual. She is incapacitated with the others, and as such the only line she'll say here is if you speak to her after killing Cazador, without Astarion present. If you click on her, she'll say "Cazador is dust, and Violet blooms! I shall live as a permanent rebuke to all that monster stood for!"
This isn't her only line, however. During the scene where Astarion's siblings try and abduct him, either her, or potentially Aurelia will say that they'll take Astarion back to the master, while the others "deal with the witnesses". Yousen and Leon, the other two that are there, have not had this line in my playthroughs, but that doesn't mean it's impossible--just unconfirmed.
Theories:
There isn't much to go off of, although we can infer she wanted to do something to Victoria, given the mentions in both her own diary, and Leon's. However, as we know later, she never gets a chance to act on this.
One theory of mine however, is that she may actually be a character named Violet Goldhammer, who we can read about on a Gravestone in act 2, near the House of Healing. The gravestone lists this Violet as a beloved singer and given that it was confirmed by one of the writers that in fact Astarion was in the Shadow Cursed Lands before they were, well, Shadow Cursed, there's no ruling out the possibility that it could be referring to our Violet. Especially when we take into consideration her diva/bratty attitude, and how poetic she is with her words--however, this is just a fun theory, and is in no way confirmed.
